Our Story · Owner Operated

Somersworth's owner-operated painting company

T&M Painting has been painting homes and businesses around Somersworth since 2012. We are a family-owned shop, and the work stays in the family: the owner personally handles every project, from the first walkthrough to the last piece of tape coming off the trim. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor.

That means the person who gives you a price is the person on the ladder, with more than 30 years of combined experience behind the brush. You get one point of contact, a straight answer about what your job actually needs, and a crew that treats your house the way it would treat its own. Senior and veteran discounts are always available; just mention it when you call.

Painting built around your turnover schedule

Vacancy costs more than paint does. We work to the date the unit has to be back on the market, keep colors consistent across a portfolio, and give you one person to call instead of a dispatcher.

What We Paint

Residential & commercial painting

We serve the commercial and residential market as well. Three core services, done properly — every job prepped, cut in, and finished by the owner.

  • Living room with freshly painted walls, white trim and a pale sofa

    Interior Painting

Walls, ceilings, trim, and doors with crisp lines and a smooth, even finish. We help with color selection, protect your floors and furniture, and leave every room clean and ready to live in.

  • Classic white colonial house entrance with freshly painted siding and trim

    Exterior Painting

Durable coatings that stand up to New England weather. Proper prep — washing, scraping, priming — so your siding and trim look sharp and stay protected for years.

  • Worker stripping old wallpaper away from a wall during a room renovation

    Wallpaper Removal

Careful stripping of old wallpaper without tearing up your walls, then skim, sand, and prime so the surface is flawless and ready for paint or new paper.
